Uncovering Your Yard's Secrets
We moved nearly two years ago.
This is our second spring here and different weather
and circumstances create new surprises each year.
The previous owners explained the vines they had
growing on the trellises were chocolate vines.
I had no experience with chocolate vines and truthfully had
never heard of them. After doing some research very early
this spring, I read that they bloom but I didn't remember much
in the way of blossoms last spring.
Perhaps because of the little research I undertook,
I know to LOOK for them.
This year, they're lovely.
Delicate and subtle.
Not everyone loves gardening, but it's magical to uncover gems you didn't know existed.
Have you found any neat new plants when you've moved, or gained appreciation for something unexpected?
