A favorite children's story - about home.
I want to share an all-time favorite of mine, The Little House by Virginia Lee Burton.
A beautifully written and illustrated story about a little country house that was well-loved,
but was eventually engulfed by the big city. In time, descendants of the original
builders reclaimed her and moved her back to the country.
It was our bedtime story tonight and we looked with wonder at the amazing illustrations.
If you haven't read it, check it from the library.
Happy endings are always good at bedtime.
