You can take your cans of leftover paint
(or other hazardous materials such as cleaners, oils, insecticides and solvents)

Their hours are Monday - Saturday, 7:00 - 4:30.

To complete my homework, I decided to check out the Free Paint Room. You can enter from inside of the building, about 3/4 of the way in, or pull through, park in the west lot, and enter from outside.
It was pretty bare when I stopped in, but if you're feeling industrious about cleaning out your garage, basement or sheds, I bet it'll have some good freebies available soon.
As a side note, if you're looking to paint and need a primer, stopping by makes perfect sense. Find a light shade of free paint instead of investing in regular primer.
